Building a Stronger Future for Gymnastics in Nagpur
About Us
Shivaji Gymnastics Club has been dedicated to training young gymnasts for over 12 years. Operating from the basketball court at Dhanwate National College, we have helped athletes develop their skills and compete at various levels.
However, our current facilities limit growth—we can only support artistic gymnastics up to the U12 level. To retain gymnasts in the sport and provide them with a clear path for progression, we need to take the next step.

Growth & Retention – Our biggest challenge is keeping gymnasts in the sport beyond age 12. Without an advanced facility, many talented athletes have to leave gymnastics due to infrastructure constraints.

Current Limitations – Daily setup and removal of apparatus on a basketball court takes time and effort, affecting training efficiency.

A Permanent Solution – A dedicated indoor facility will provide proper apparatus, safety, and year-round training without setup hassles.

Over the past few years, we have explored multiple options through various routes, including local bodies. However, we do not want political involvement—our focus is purely on sports development and sustainability.
